Brass

Three tuba students rehearsing

The brass faculty at NJCU is dedicated to providing students with the best training possible to prepare them for a competitive music world. Students receive a full hour lesson each week of the semester from our world-class faculty and participate in weekly chamber ensembles coaching. They perform in recitals, chamber music and large ensemble settings, and are exposed to a wide array of performances by their own faculty and frequent renowned guest artists and clinicians.

In addition, the proximity of our campus to New York City and NJPAC makes NJCU a prime location for students who want to experience the artistic and multicultural life of the Big Apple and nearby suburbs.
